I'grand giving it upwards.... It does non matter how I have the settings, It hangs the driver or the whole estimator. Running it on 2.4 works perfectly. My Telephone is connected to 5.0G and have also no problems... It is the shittty USB-AC56 that is faulty or wrongly designed as then many have the same problems.. I accept tried to motility the antenna and changed the channels, just to no avail.
AnusTech has e'er making substandard products. Most of my Asus mainboards i have had during my 25-years working with PC, accept failed. I take had ONE faulty Gigabyte mainboard during the same fourth dimension , but it was tested and confirmed faulty and swapped to a new one when visited the service center, all inside 20 min. My Last Asus Mainboard (Rampage 4 Extreme) was in for repair 3.5 month, yea about 14 weeks.... I have had, lets say 30 PC builds during this time for my cocky and friends and family unit members and I have used more Gigabyte boards than Asus ones.....
Sad I had to whines picayune bit.... Feels better now :-D

Tested the USB-AC56 on my Win-7 laptop as well with the aforementioned Low speed as to a higher place. It seemed to go on the 5.0G connectedness better without whatever bug though.
Tin can it be that the AiCloud has a express bandwidth to 60Mbps??

Replaced AnusTek's firmware to DD-WRT and my WIFI got much steadier and all seems to work fine, and transfer speed increased to 90-100Mbps too. But I nonetheless call back it is very, very depression. I take now spent 32 hours on this crap, but still more to exercise.

Howdy,
I have very consistent results.
Whatever driver more contempo than 1027.4.630.2015 is non stable on Windows 10 anniversary update.
Using 1027.4.630.2015 the wifi link is stable (no crashes) and fast (867 Mbps).
Asus helpdesk does not even want to consider looking at this problem and keep saying I must install the lastest drivers. The latest driver are the problem, not the solution.

Hi Peter,
I would say the top i (1023.6.225.2013) should piece of work.
Otherwise, google information technology. I came up with http://driveragent.com/c/archive/-20782674
The 866 Mbps (sorry, wasn't 867) shows both at the windows 10 side and the router side of the connection. Netgear r7000. Minor altitude, few feet. But I can confirm it.
There was this other useful link....
https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1304940-asus-usb-ac56-wifi-adapter-and-windows-x-anniversary-update/
However, I cannot say the July 28 2015 worked for me. I didn't.
Just it definitely seems there is something wrong with the drivers and windows x. And also that using older drivers can, maybe, set up the problem.

Exercise you accept gigabit Google Cobweb? What is your internet speed? What is the actual load?
I propose testing your true WLAN speed with a sequential file transfer (>10GB) from one reckoner to some other, ane on LAN, the other one on WLAN, both with disks with write speed of >100MB/s, then report the value.
The adapter would TX at 867mbps downstream if the speed of buffered data >867mbps, it will never exist at or close to 867mbps if the bottlenecks are there.
